Aquatic Physiotherapy
Aquatic Physiotherapy, also known as hydrotherapy, is therapy for children in the water with paediatric trained physiotherapists.
Therapy in the water is fun! Children often respond well to therapy in the water, developing their strength, coordination and motor skills while becoming water safe!
Our aquatic programs are individualised for disability and rehabilitation depending on what the child requires to achieve their goals.
Aquatic therapy is currently available at pools located in Benowa, Pimpama, Southport and Carrara or home visits.
NDIS & ECEI funding is available for self or plan managed participants with approval.
Sports Specific Physiotherapy
Many children with a disability are unable to participate in mainstream sports and physical activity programs for a variety of reasons.
Our sports specific physiotherapy sessions incorporate a range of different gross motor skill development within a fun outdoor environment. Sessions can focus on specific sports such as tennis, soccer or football with a goal of developing skill and participation levels to a point where transition into mainstream programs is achievable.
