Biography
Laura has 15 years experience as a Physiotherapist after graduating from Griffith University with a double degree of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science in 2006. She has many years of experience in her special interest areas of women’s health and paediatrics across both private practice and community roles. Laura keeps busy outside of work with her two active boys, often in the swimming pool, at the beach or on the tennis court. She understands the challenges incurred within the life of a busy mum. Laura is passionate about health and fitness, in particular reformer Pilates, yoga and gentle strength training and encompasses a holistic approach to achieving overall wellness and life balance. She can often be found in the pool doing aquatic therapy sessions or in the reformer Pilates gym taking group classes. Laura enjoys supporting soon-to-be and new mums exercise safety and effectively as well as providing thorough pre and post natal physiotherapy. She also supports families with children with disabilities by providing a holistic physiotherapy approach encompassing gross motor therapy, aquatic therapy, equipment prescription and developmental programs.
